Quickening is the best piece of music I have worked on and created to date.
Quickening is an ethereal neo-classical / cinematic piece built around breathy Celtic-inspired vocals, piano, and delicate orchestral strings. It unfolds from intimate restraint into an urgent yet majestic emotional arc, resolving in a haunting, reflective finish. Released on St. Brigid’s Day (Imbolc), the track centres themes of renewal, feminine energy, and new beginnings.
'Quickening' is a collaboration with Steve Horner (theme from Bridgerton 'Sign of the Times' & composer of Oscar-nominated 'One Small Step') and me (Fiona Joy Hawkins. It's our first collaboration!
Quickening is the best piece of music I have created to date.
It's a collaboration with Steve Horner (Horner Music). More information to come over the next three weeks, leading up to the release. found.ee/quickening
